Can you imagine sitting in a tree stand hunting deer just after sun up and wondering what your former co-workers are doing right know? Then a smile comes across your face knowing that you, unlike the guys at the office, never have to show up at work again.  After hours and hours of self education, you are now a business owner who sits back and collects the dividend checks, watches your company grow, and keeps right on hunting while your money piles up like the leaves in the fall.

Does this sound like another wild dream you have where you’re the star of “Mega-monster bucks”?  Maybe to most people but this can become a reality and it is a lot closer then you think!

In case you have not figured it out, this blog is where the deer trail meets Wall Street!

This blog “Treestand Investor” was created as an after thought while deer hunting  after reading a book about investing. The book was by Phil Town and is called “Rule #1, The Simple Strategy for Successful Investing in Only 15 minutes a week”    I was reading this book as part of my self imposed homework because I had decided to educate myself in the stock market and the future of my retirement account.

This blog is not just a personal journey into investing; it is an educational opportunity I want to share with my fellow hunting friends.  I also want to use The Treestand Investor as another way to get to know like minded hunters who can offer additional insights to help build an educational based foundation.
